Job Description

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP Corporation) is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Manufacturing & Production team supporting the Aerospace & Defense industry. In this on-site role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce complex, tight-tolerance components, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools. You will collaborate closely with engineers and quality staff to meet rigorous aerospace standards while ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components to specification. Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T to plan machining operations. Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments to verify quality requirements. Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to optimize cycle time and part accuracy. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic mechanical or program issues. Document production data and follow strict aerospace and defense quality procedures. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to CPP safety and 5 S standards. Required Skills CNC machine setup and operation G-code programming and editing Reading blueprints and technical drawings Use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Aerospace quality standards and documentation Tool selection and offsets optimization Machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance Metalworking and machining of high-temperature alloys Shop mathematics and machining calculations
