Description:

Operating manual grinding machines, grinding high grade precision tooling to tight tolerances. Openings for entry level candidates available. Training is provided! Regular performance-based pay increases available. Cross training and continual learning also available. Must live in the Buffalo area or be within a reasonable commuting distance.

Shift:

Four 10-hour days Sunday-Wednesday, 6 AM- 4:30 PM Training and Permanent Shift Earn $23.00 - $27.00 /hr starting, Based on experience.

Job Type:

Full-time Scope of Responsibilities:

Operate Grinding Machines. Hold very precise tolerances. Use critical thinking and problem solving skills to improve quality and reduce scrap. Inspect inserts for both dimensional and visual defects. Set up machines for production runs.

Qualifications:

Good analytical ability. Great team working skills. High school diploma or GED. 1 year of manufacturing experience or trade school Experience with reading and following instructions from CADD drawings and Job Travelers. Ability to read blueprints

Preferred:

Experience in Machining /Manufacturing Completed or pursuing a degree or certificate course in related field a plus Experience with precision measuring equipment
