Full-Time Position Summary Andy Pac is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with fractions, decimal equivalents, reading blueprints, using tape measures and precision measuring tools, and manufacturing parts to exact specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This is for a manual machinist, not CNC. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Perform calculations involving fractions, decimals, and basic geometry. Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools. Machine, drill, tap, cut, and finish components to specification. Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements when needed. Qualifications Required Experience as a machinist or in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Strong understanding of fractions and measurements. Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16", 1/32", or finer increments. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Dependable attendance and positive work ethic. Operate regular forklifts (training will be included) Possibly road/travel work (not required) Preferred Experience with lathes, or 3 axis vertical mill machining equipment. Ability to perform machine setups and tool changes. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials and tools. Ability to work safely around machinery and manufacturing equipment. Compensation & Benefits Health, dental, and vision benefits.
