Innovative Handling

Electrical Machine Builder

Entry-Level JobVerifiedNo experience needed

Job Description

About Us Innovative Handling builds custom industrial automation — roll handling, end-of-line packaging, robotics, and load/unload systems. Our machines run in facilities across the country, and we stand behind every one of them. It's a hands-on shop where you'll work on real problems and see your work leave the building and go to work. We build relationships the same way we build machines: Robust. Reliable. Repeatable. The Role We're hiring experienced Electrical Machine Builders who can work from schematics and get things done with minimal supervision. You'll wire machines from the ground up — panels, motors, sensors, robots — and be someone the rest of the team can lean on. What You'll Do Read and build from electrical schematic drawings Wire machines including motors, sensors, junction boxes, and cable tray systems Build and troubleshoot control panels Test and diagnose wiring and assembly issues Work with robot controllers — wiring, jogging, and software uploads Fabricate EE and ethernet cables; check cables for continuity Support and mentor less experienced builders on the floor What You Bring Solid understanding of AC and DC electricity; 480V experience a plus Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics Experience with PLCs, relays, and control components Own hand tools High regard for safety — you catch problems before they become incidents Able to work independently and communicate clearly when something's off Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Electrical trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs, stand 8+ hours, work in overhead structures and confined spaces, available for overtime and weekends as needed.
