Job Description

Established, growing Bucks County, Pennsylvania-based contract manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. Experience preferred, but this is also an excellent opportunity for an apprentice with a desire to learn. You're a great fit for this position if you are a CNC Machinist who can independently set up, operate, and program CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM software Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup adjustments as needed Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency Qualifications CNC machining experience (mill, lathe, or multi-axis) preferred Ability to set up, operate, and program CNC equipment independently Understanding of machining principles, tooling, speeds & feeds Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) preferred Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection processes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Preferred Skills Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis/5-axis) Familiarity with ERP or shop management systems Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience Experience working with a variety of materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics, etc.) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Work Environment Modern, well-maintained machining facility Team-oriented culture with a focus on quality and safety Consistent workflow with a mix of short-run and production work Why Join Us?
