Job Description

Job Summary Lvlup Mfg LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience in setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes and machining centers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mazak Mazatrol , Fanuc , or Siemens controls and is capable of writing, editing, and troubleshooting programs directly at the machine. If you enjoy machining precision parts for the Aerospace and Oil & Gas industries, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision. Write, edit, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Select tooling, workholding, offsets, speeds, and feeds. Machine precision components while maintaining tight tolerances. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues. Optimize cycle times while maintaining quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience . Experience with one or more of the following: Mazak Mazatrol Fanuc Controls Siemens Controls Ability to write, edit, and prove CNC programs at the machine.

Strong understanding of:

G-Code & M-Code Machine setup and offsets Blueprint reading & GD&T Speeds, feeds, and tooling selection Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision inspection equipment. Ability to work independently and solve machining problems. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Aerospace or Oil & Gas manufacturing. Experience machining stainless steel, 4140 alloy steel, Inconel, aluminum, or other exotic materials. CAD/CAM programming experience is a plus.
