We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our precision machine shop in the Jersey Village area. This position will primarily operate a Haas

SL-20 CNC

Lathe manufacturing custom fasteners, studs, threaded components, and precision machined parts for the oil & gas and industrial industries. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating Haas lathes, reading blueprints, making adjustments, and inspecting finished parts to ensure quality. Experience machining stainless steel, alloy steel, or other specialty materials is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and operate a Haas

SL-20 CNC

Lathe Produce precision machined parts from blueprints and work instructions Perform tooling changes and edits on program as needed Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring tools Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals Keep machines and work area clean and organized

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience Experience operating Haas CNC Lathes (SL Series preferred) Ability to perform setups and make adjustments Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment Threading experience is a plus Experience machining stainless steel, alloy steel, or exotic materials is preferred Must have a valid driver's license

Pay:

$26.00 - $27.00 per hour
