About the role:

Miami Gardens, FL 33014 We are looking for a Mail Machine Operator on behalf of our client. This is a 6-month contract assignment. (W-2) You will be operating the equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules and delivers to the next processing step.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
• Operates high speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes, extract content, and image documents to process payments.
• Operates rapid extraction machinery efficiently to process exceptions that cannot be handled through high-speed equipment.
• Use vendor software to complete simple keying functions to apply customer payments or route change of address requests.
• Uses company systems and vendor software to perform simple research to apply non-complex payments and correspondence requests.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience operating mail or high-volume manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of mail processing operations, postal regulations, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outside of normal hours when necessary to meet business needs.
