Job Description

Green Leaf is looking for Secondary Operators on 1st shift (Monday - Friday) to join our team. This individual will provide a variety of responsibilities including: Secondary Operator responsibilities: Verify setup and materials needed based on product specifications. Operate Mill and Lathe machines. Assemble product and label. (Trimming may be required based on product specifications.) Restock materials as necessary. Perform quality inspections. Maintain and record product totals. Perform housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns. Maintain equipment (clean, refill coolant and remove scrap material). Follow all safety and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or
General Equivalency Diploma Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Basic computer skills Basic math and reading/comprehension skills Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions Basic problem solving skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Good verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee constantly performs repetitive motions requiring the employee to push, pull, reach, grasp, feel and handle objects. The employee is required to occasionally bend or stoop. This position requires good eye, hand, foot coordination. The employee may lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a normal injection molding manufacturing facility. Employees may be exposed to heat and humidity, moving parts, noise and vibration.
