$17.00 / hr We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Tamping Machine Operator. This position is responsible for producing high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing hands-on production work, operating pneumatic equipment, and maintaining clean molds and work areas. Job Summary Produce high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process Fill molds with pre-mixed sand and concrete formulas Operate a pneumatic ram/tamper to compact materials into molds Clean molds between uses to maintain product quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow established production procedures and quality standards Perform repetitive, hands-on production tasks throughout the shift Experience Required Previous manufacturing, construction, concrete, or production experience is helpful but not required Experience operating pneumatic equipment is a plus Willingness to learn production processes and equipment Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and production procedures Comfortable performing repetitive physical work Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required Dependable and punctual Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
