Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC bandsaw, laser machine, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment. Handle materials and tooling safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for materials handling and packaging. Collaborate with team members on fabrication processes, assembly tasks, and quality control inspections to meet production goals. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC machinery such as CNC bandsaw, press brake, punch press, and laser cutting machine. Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Experience with shop math including basic calculations for measurements and tolerances. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrication techniques. Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills. Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement instruments for quality assurance. Understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workplace for all team members. Experience working in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment with materials handling and packaging responsibilities.
