Hour Full-Time Position Typical Schedule:

Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week Lockwood Packing Company is hiring a Machine Operator to join our RTE Production Department. As a Machine Operator, you'll help keep production moving by operating equipment used to process ready-to-eat snack stick products and prepare them for packaging. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required. We provide on-the-job training for dependable individuals who are ready to learn. Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) What You'll Do Operate stick cutters, conveyors, cooling systems, and other production equipment Set up, start up, shut down, and adjust equipment based on production needs Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the shift Feed products to the packaging line and keep production moving efficiently Make minor equipment adjustments as needed Report equipment, quality, or production concerns to your supervisor Verify product appearance and specifications Complete production records and documentation Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures Work with your team to meet daily production goals What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required Physical Requirements Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift Work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated production areas Work around moving machinery, food processing equipment, wet floors, and production noise Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Work Schedule Full-time position Typical schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week Overtime may be available based on production needs Work schedules may vary based on staffing and production demands If you're dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in producing quality food products, we'd love to have you on our team.
