Meadowlark Log Homes is a premier handcrafted log home manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for excellence, craftsmanship, and integrity. Our Yard and Mill team plays an essential role in preparing the quality logs and materials that go into every Meadowlark home. We are seeking three (3) reliable, hardworking Peelers to join our production team. You will be responsible for peeling logs according to production priorities while maintaining consistent quality, working safely, and supporting the overall workflow of the Yard and Mill.

Peelers are expected to contribute to a clean, safe, and team-driven environment while developing their skills for continuous growth and advancement.

Peeler Duties & Responsibilities:

Communicate with the Yard Foreman daily to review progress, production needs, priorities, and expectations. Peel logs according to the priority list established by the Yard Foreman. Maintain a minimum of 10 peeled posts at all times to support production needs. Accurately and honestly log daily peeling production. Perform regular quality checks throughout the peeling process. Maintain consistent peeling standards and workmanship in accordance with Meadowlark Log Homes' quality standards. Identify and address quality issues immediately, making necessary adjustments to maintain production standards. Look for training opportunities and strive for continuous improvement in peeling techniques, quality, and overall job performance. Follow all Meadowlark Log Homes safety policies and wear proper PPE at all times. Operate equipment safely and responsibly in accordance with company guidelines. Actively participate in weekly safety meetings. Immediately report safety hazards, unsafe practices, equipment concerns, or other issues to the Yard Foreman. Communicate openly with fellow employees and support the team as needed. Maintain respect and professionalism in all interactions. Assist with training new employees when needed. Keep personal work areas clean and organized to support efficient workflow. Follow all Meadowlark Log Homes policies without exception. Conduct yourself in alignment with Meadowlark Log Homes' vision, mission, and core values of integrity, excellence, consistency, innovation, and accountability . Support a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Yard and Mill.

Job Details & Benefits:
