Full Job Description Description:
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutter to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, marking, and cutting materials for custom, large-scale drapery and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate has strong sewing and fabrication experience, takes pride in precision craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. Working closely with the production team, you'll help ensure every project meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities Measure, mark, and cut fabrics and other materials according to project specifications. Execute complex cutting for custom, large-scale drapery and fabrication projects. Read and interpret work orders, floor plans, sketches, and technical drawings. Create, modify, and utilize patterns to ensure accurate production. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborate with sewing and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Inspect materials and finished cuts for accuracy and quality before production. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements:
Qualifications Previous professional sewing or fabric cutting experience required. Experience with large-scale drapery, theatrical drapery, upholstery, or custom fabrication preferred. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform precise measurements. Experience reading and interpreting floor plans, sketches, and technical drawings. Knowledge of pattern making and pattern modification. Experience operating industrial sewing equipment, including straight stitch, overlock (serger), blind hemmer, and grommet press machines, is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet production deadlines. Spanish language skills are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally lift, push, or carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
