Print Shop, 3153 Lake Road, Horseheads, NY Full-time (1.0 FTE) 8-hour day, 12 month Non-Competitive Civil Service position Operates multiple photo copiers per job order specifications. May be required to operate typesetting computers, wide format printers and other electronic devices. Corrects proofs and checks copy for mistakes. Maintains equipment with routine type maintenance. Requests servicing of equipment from supervisor when needing repair. Operates all bindery equipment, folders, cutters, joggers, collator, padder, coiler, and comb binding machines. May punch, fold, staple, collate or do any other bindery operation necessary to complete product. Accurately records time, materials, and any other factors in completing jobs, which may affect quality, price, or timeof finished product. Operates bulk mailing equipment. Assists in other areas of finishing as needed. Provides information to supervisor for final costing. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications This is a Civil Service Non-Competitive Position.
