Extrusion Machine Operator Pawling Corporation | Wassaic, NY Full-Time | Monday through Thursday | Four 10-

Hour Days Pay:

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience Pawling Corporation is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Wassaic, NY. This is a hands-on position responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring plastic extrusion equipment used in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating or manufacturing experience, although we are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. A major benefit of this position is our four-day workweek. Employees work Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day, with Fridays off. Responsibilities Set up and operate plastic extrusion equipment Perform tooling setup, changeovers, and teardown Monitor equipment during production runs Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications Make operating adjustments within established procedures Handle and stage raw materials used in the extrusion process Handle finished product and assist with material movement Complete required production and quality documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Identify and report equipment, tooling, material, or product-quality issues Perform other related production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous extrusion, machine operating, or manufacturing experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications Basic math skills Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work effectively as part of a production team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous plastic extrusion experience is a plus, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided to qualified candidates. Schedule Monday through Thursday Four 10-hour shifts 40 hours per week Fridays off Pay $16.00 - $25.00 per hour Starting pay will be based on relevant manufacturing experience, extrusion experience, mechanical skills, and overall qualifications.
