Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Reliable and hard working Shop Assistant to join our team. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a can do attitude. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of the team. There is heavy lifting required. We are really busy in the Fall/winter. We go from town to town on the weekends hosting large Ice carving events. The summer months we slow down some. We do weddings, Golf invitationals, Graduations and so much more. Spring/Summer months we have the ability to be flexible with the scheduling. however last minuet call offs hurt the teams success and wont be tolerated. Responsibilities Harvesting Large Ice Blocks using a over head crane system. Trim blocks down on giant sawmill. Then dolly them into Freezer Restarting the Blocks in the Block Makers Packaging, Delivering, and setting up Ice Sculptures Working in a freezer cutting cubes for cocktails Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area and freezers Eventually sculpting Ice Carvings and live demonstrations in December Learning how to load and unload CNC. Requirements Drivers License Heavy Lifting Willing to Working in Cold environment Reliable and honest A positive can do attitude Join our team as a Shop Assistant.
