Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Hog Mover to join our team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS

Monday through Friday 4:00am-1:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$17.80 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this entry level position.

Job functions include:

Unloading and sorting pigs following TQA guidelinesVaccinating pigs in an efficient and effective mannerReporting all mechanical, barn or equipment problems to the supervisorFollowing all biosecurity guidelines
