What You'll Do As an extrusion operator, you will be responsible for: Assisting with start-up, setup, and operation of plastic extrusion machinery to ensure seamless production. Loading raw materials into machines and adjusting controls to maintain proper feed and temperature settings. Monitoring machine gauges and control panels throughout the shift to detect any malfunctions or defects and taking immediate corrective action. Performing regular quality inspections on produced materials to ensure they meet required specifications and dimensions. Keeping the work environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Reporting any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisory staff to maintain operational integrity. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Previous experience in plastic extrusion or related manufacturing roles is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to interpret work orders and follow technical instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certifications related to plastic manufacturing or machine operation are a plus.
