Extrusion Operator - Setup Operations (2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm) Lenni, PA Westlake Plastics is a world-leading manufacturer in extrusion and compression molding technologies of high-performance thermoplastics. Extrusion machine operator - Setup operator duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean and setup single screw extruders
• Maintain setup and accurate in-process records
• Record running conditions and process change
• Assure material is being manufactured to the required specification
• Take care of tooling and equipment during the setup of an extruder
• Monitor cut off sheets and shop orders that are running and being setup
• Confirm correct type and amount of resin is entered into each job
• Maintain housekeeping in extrusion area
• Maintain all safety requirements

Requirements:

• Demonstrated mechanical ability
• Proper use of hand and power tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Job experience (>2 years) in a manufacturing setting or graduation from a technical training school in a mechanical application
• Knowledge in the safe operation of the following equipment: horizontal lathes of all sizes, portable resurfacing machines and drill presses
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
