Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience operating a variety of industrial equipment. As an integral part of our production process, you will support the creation of high-quality products by ensuring machinery runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in manufacturing and machining, with opportunities for growth and skill advancement. Responsibilities EDT/Chrome plating operator will operate overhead crane to transfer product between different machines. EDT/Chrome plating operator will setup and monitor the machine for production requirements. Perform quality control checks on finished product to maintain operational and customer standards. Clean equipment as needed to prevent issues with processes. Enter production information for each roll processed into the company Roll Management System for work in progress. Report production problems to the manager to minimize downtime in production. Notify Maintenance Manager of preventative and/or corrective maintenance needed on equipment. Operator will assist the Maintenance Manager on repairs of the machine including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues. Skills General knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and basic shop math skills. Basic computer skills for Word, Excel and Data Entry. Ability to use "trade math" (fractions/decimals). Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required initially. Commitment to safety standards in production environments; attentive to quality control measures. Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills. High School diploma or GED. Experience working in factory or manufacturing facility settings is preferred but not mandatory.
