  Spherion Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a fiberglass manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls, TX! This person will be responsible for the set up and operation of the creel machine
• load glass fiber spools, feed continuous production lines, troubleshoot thread breaks, and ensure raw materials flow seamlessly through manufacturing equipment.
  Work schedule is block rotation 13 hour shifts 6:40am
• 8pm for $16.

Responsibilities:

• Performs the startup of machines in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and monitors the machine while its running
• Ensures the product being produced meets quality requirements.
• This position assists in troubleshooting, style changes, and repairing machines.
• Fix unsafe conditions and report them immediately to supervisor
• Notify appropriate personnel of any equipment malfunctions
• Visually inspect production and take corrective action
• Participate in safety and housekeeping programs as established by plant
• Keep working area clean throughout shift
• Maintains stock level of the creels and restock when needed
• Repairs broken inputs or stitch yarn ...
• Identifies problems and suggest methods to correct them to avoid any problems leading to scrap or missed production
• Assist in beam changes, machine setup and restrings as needed
• Operate a computer
• Responsible for appearance of finished fabric and pallets. Remove all pallets and dunnage from machines at the end of assigned shift.
• Accurately weighs, labels and packs finished product according to customer requirements.
• Completes all paperwork accurately and as required Working hours: 6:40 AM

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Material Handling, Equipment Operation, Raw Material Loading, Factory, and Assembly Line skills
• Mathematical skills
• Read a metric tape measure
