In this role, you would be responsible for operating computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal under general supervision. Set up and operate a CNC gantry style router to produce precision metal and plastic parts and components. Precision component makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical components. Will also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. What you'd be doing: Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations. Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences. Confer with supervisors or programmers to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors, and to obtain approval to continue production. Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems. Lift work pieces to machines manually, or with hoists or cranes. Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation. Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Transport via fork or other type of lifts the raw and finished materials. What we are looking for/

Forklift Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Over 3 years of related experience preferred Ability to Pass Internal Forklift Certification training
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift to 40 lbs. Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
