Job Description

MCC seeks a Machine Operator for our Printing Media Manufacturing & Production team. You will set up, operate, and monitor printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality materials that support MCC's global relief, development, and peacebuilding work. Responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, inspecting output for quality, performing basic equipment adjustments, and following strict safety and stewardship standards. You'll collaborate in a cross-cultural, faith-driven environment, supporting mission-focused projects that serve vulnerable communities worldwide. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor printing and finishing machines Load materials, adjust machine settings, and perform basic changeovers Inspect printed materials for color, registration, and quality standards Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor mechanical adjustments Follow safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping procedures Document production data and report downtime or quality issues Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and targets Handle materials, staging, and packaging of finished goods Assist with continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives Support MCC's mission and values in daily work practices Required Skills Offset or digital press operation Mechanical troubleshooting Machine setup and changeover Quality control and visual inspection Basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges, rulers) Production documentation and data entry Lockout/tagout and shop safety practices Materials handling and pallet jack/forklift use Reading work orders and production specs Preventive maintenance on production equipment
