KITTING COORDINATOR
Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for Kitting Coordinator s in Bridgeport, WV. The Kitting Coordinator is responsible for assembling, staging, tracking, and managing all materials required for aircraft engine assembly operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Kitting Coordinator you will be required to: Sort various engine parts onto specific carts in the orientation required for assembly. Ensure all kit components match engineering requirements and current assembly documentation Support engine assembly technicians by providing replacement components and resolving material issues during assembly Track completed kits and communicate assembly readiness. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitting and staging area. Participate in meetings to align build schedule in relation to physical engine clearance Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce assembly downtime and increase kit accuracy Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions. This position is approximately 50 computer-based and requires proficiency with standard computer applications, data entry, electronic documentation, and digital communication tools.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required 2-3+ years related experience SAP/MRO computer system experience preferred, but will train Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65. Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
