Beloit Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Orthopedic Technician (ROT) to join our busy Orthopedic Department team at Beloit Clinic. The successful candidate will work closely with orthopedic physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care, assist with orthopedic procedures, and support patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.

Beloit Clinic Orthopedics The Registered Orthopedic Technician will assist medical provider with procedures, provide patient care, and perform procedures as necessary for quality patient care.
Registered Orthopedic Technician will:
Perform splinting, casting, cast removal, dressing changes and suture and staple Assist in the treatment of patients with orthopedic Instruct patients in the use of orthopedic appliances and cast care. Maintain cast room and inventory of orthopedic equipment and supplies. Assist the Medical Assistant in clinical areas by preparing x-rays and rooms as necessary, including rooming patients and other patient care functions. Initiate and maintain accurate electronic/paper medical records. Demonstrate ability to navigate and perform functions accurately and efficiently with computer software applicable to department. Strictly adhere to infection control policies including body substance isolation and blood borne pathogen Appropriately assess basic physical, psychological and social needs of patients and their
Job Requirements:
High School graduate with current Registered Orthopedic Technician certification or Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or Surgical Technician Program that must obtain Registered Orthopedic Technician certification within 30 months of hire Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire Strong critical thinking abilities Requires excellent verbal and written communication and counseling skills Clinical experience desirable May require working some irregular hours Apply today and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in orthopedic care!
