Snellville, GA Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Teamwork Machine operation Technical documentation Injection (injection molding) Manufacturing facility experience Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Perform mold changes, machine setup, and production startups . Install and remove molds safely using proper procedures. Set and adjust injection molding machine parameters according to established process specifications. Start machines and verify that parts meet quality requirements before production begins. Monitor machines during production and make process adjustments when necessary. Troubleshoot common molding problems, including: Short shots Flash Sink marks Warpage Burn marks Weld lines Dimensional variation Part sticking or ejection problems Set up and operate auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, temperature controllers, material loaders, and robots. Prepare and verify raw materials and ensure the correct material is used for each production order. Perform minor mechanical adjustments and basic troubleshooting of molding equipment. Work closely with the Injection Molding Process Engineer/Supervisor to optimize processes and resolve production issues. Assist with first-piece inspections and ensure production starts according to specifications. Monitor cycle times, scrap, and machine performance. Complete setup sheets, production records, and process documentation accurately. Maintain clean and organized work areas around molding machines. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Assist with preventive maintenance and report machine, mold, or auxiliary equipment problems. Train and provide technical support to machine operators when needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience working with injection molding machines required. Hands-on experience with mold installation and machine setup. Knowledge of injection molding processes and plastic materials. Ability to read and follow process/setup sheets. Mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot production problems. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
