This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, manageable workload in a comfortable, climate-controlled (air-conditioned!) facility. We operate 13 injection molding presses ranging from 280 to 1,500 tons, and we typically only run 1-2 mold changes per shift — so this role offers a steady, predictable pace compared to high-volume die-setting environments. We welcome candidates at all experience levels — whether you're an experienced Die Setter or looking to break into the trade, we're willing to train the right person.
Schedule:
Standard 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime available for those who want it. 2nd
Shift:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd
Shift:
11:00 PM - 7:00
AM What You'll Do:
Set up, adjust, and change out molds/dies on injection molding presses (280-1,500 ton range) Ensure proper alignment, clamping, and setup for efficient production runs Troubleshoot minor setup issues and make adjustments as needed Communicate with operators and supervisors to keep production running smoothly Follow all safety procedures around press operation and mold handling
What We're Looking For:
Prior die-setting or mold-setting experience preferred, but not required — we're happy to train motivated candidates who are new to the trade Ability to read basic setup sheets/specs (or willingness to learn) Comfortable working independently during shift hours Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to lift and maneuver mold components as needed
