PROCESS TECHNICIANS

near Auburn Hills, MI (Orion Twp)!

JOB TITLE

Process Technician (contract-to-hire)

PAY RATE

$24.00 - $28.00/hr

SHIFTS:

2:00pm - 10:00pm

DAYS:

Mon-Fri + two Saturdays on, and then one Saturday off.

DESCRIPTION

This role is for a plastic manufacturing company. They produce plastic for various industries, including automotive, medical, etc.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE

Coordinate and perform mold setups, changeovers, machine start-ups, lockouts, and safe shutdowns. Troubleshoot and fine-tune complex injection molding parameters and auxiliary equipment using a variety of engineered and commodity resins. Monitor cycle times, part weights, and product dimensions; perform first-piece approvals and ongoing random quality audits. Partner with shift supervisors, tooling, maintenance, and quality control teams to resolve floor issues and reduce scrap General maintenance and upkeep of the facility (sweeping, etc).
