PM Job Summary:
Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator to support injection molding operations in a manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility will be to operate molding presses, monitor the molding process, and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and production standards. This is a hands-on production role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Safely start, operate, monitor, and shut down injection molding machines according to standard operating procedures. Inspect molded parts for visual defects, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality . Use a microscope and basic measuring tools to inspect small or detailed components. Identify process abnormalities, material issues, machine alarms, or product defects and take appropriate action or escalate issues. Follow written work instructions, safety procedures, GMP requirements , and company policies. Maintain accurate production and quality records as required. Meet daily production and quality expectations while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors regarding production or quality concerns. Top 5
Skills:
1. Injection Molding Machine Operation Ability to safely start, operate, monitor, and shut down molding equipment while following established procedures. 2. Quality Inspection Experience inspecting molded parts for defects, performing detailed visual inspections, and using measuring tools to verify product quality. 3. Attention to Detail Ability to identify small product defects, process abnormalities, and material issues before they affect production or quality. 4. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving Ability to recognize machine alarms, process variations, and production issues and appropriately troubleshoot or escalate concerns. 5. Safety & GMP Compliance Ability to consistently follow safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), work instructions, and company policies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform detailed inspection using a microscope . Ability to lift and handle materials/components weighing up to 10 lbs. Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail during repetitive production and inspection tasks.
Pay:
Up to $18.75 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
