Overview The Jr Casting supports the casting operation by safely charging and monitoring the casting furnace, selecting proper materials, recording required measurements, completing production documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, teamwork, and following Ameritube's established procedures and Quality Management System. Hiring for 2nd (2pm - 10pm) and 3rd (10pm - 6am) Shifts Required Skills /

Qualifications:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow established procedures. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately record measurements. Ability to read and understand measurements using a micrometer and other required measurement tools. Must successfully complete micrometer training and demonstrate proficiency in the proper use of measurement tools. Ability to accurately complete production paperwork and maintain required records. Ability to maintain accurate tracking and traceability of work-in-process inventory. Ability to learn and safely operate casting furnace equipment. Ability to identify and select the proper charging material for the casting furnace. Ability to read and record information from the furnace control panel. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Must be capable of performing the physical duties associated with the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Quality & Productivity Expectations:

• Adhere to Ameritube's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Follow all established work instructions, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Select the correct charging material according to the production requirements.
• Accurately measure and record required information.
• Properly complete all production paperwork.
• Maintain accurate tracking and traceability of work-in-process inventory.
• Ensure measurements are taken using the correct measurement tool and procedure.
• Immediately communicate quality concerns, material discrepancies, or process issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Prevent errors by verifying material, measurements, paperwork, and process requirements before proceeding.
• Arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time and be prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.
• Maintain consistent production activity throughout the shift.
• Charge the casting furnace approximately 4-5 times per hour, when production requirements and operating conditions require it.
• Complete required furnace measurements and control-panel documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation throughout the shift.
• Work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Minimize unnecessary downtime and promptly communicate equipment or production issues.
• Meet established production expectations without sacrificing safety, quality, or traceability.
