Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of materials handling, and the ability to perform quality inspections throughout the production process. Duties Operate extrusion machinery, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to verify product specifications. Fabricate components as per design requirements, ensuring adherence to production schedules. Handle materials effectively, ensuring proper loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products. Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to assist in the production process. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency. Maintain accurate records of production data and report any issues to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Experience Previous experience in plastics extrusion or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and machining processes is advantageous. Experience with forklift operation is a plus. Strong understanding of materials handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
