Job Description

About the Role As a Plant Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital technical resource responsible for the uptime and reliability of complex manufacturing machinery. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to drive operational efficiency and ensure that production lines remain fully optimized. Responsibilities Execute proactive preventative maintenance programs to minimize unexpected downtime and maximize the longevity of critical production assets. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures to restore peak equipment performance. Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and asset history by accurately documenting all repairs and service activities within a CMMS environment. Perform precise installation and calibration of industrial components to support seamless production transitions. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout protocols, to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel. Analyze technical schematics and blueprints to perform accurate troubleshooting and system modifications. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing maintenance capacity. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings and electrical diagrams. Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Preferred Skills Prior experience utilizing FIIX or similar computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving equipment requirements. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure production environments.
