Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the seamless operation of our production floor by performing critical repairs and preventative maintenance. You will play a vital role in optimizing equipment uptime and supporting our continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure manufacturing targets are met. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based equipment failures. Perform precision calibration and alignment to maintain high-quality production standards. Manage maintenance documentation and inventory tracking through digital asset management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies. Provide technical guidance and training to production staff regarding equipment operation and basic troubleshooting. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, to foster a secure workplace. Support facility-wide infrastructure maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant industrial experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting automated machinery using electrical schematics and multimeters. Strong understanding of safety protocols and industrial compliance standards. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50-100 lbs and frequent movement. Basic computer literacy and mathematical aptitude for data analysis. Preferred Skills Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent vocational training. 3+ years of experience in high-volume, lean manufacturing environments. Proven ability to coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
