Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a key technical resource dedicated to maximizing production uptime and equipment reliability. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to perform critical repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements that drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the long-term health and peak performance of manufacturing machinery. Diagnose and resolve complex issues within mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize production interruptions. Install, calibrate, and test new or repaired components to verify they meet rigorous operational standards. Interpret technical schematics and manuals to guide precise repairs and system modifications. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history. Collaborate with production teams to prioritize urgent repairs and support continuous improvement initiatives. Uphold high safety standards by strictly adhering to lockout/tagout protocols and facility safety guidelines. Perform general facility upkeep to ensure a safe, organized, and functional work environment. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 3+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role. Strong proficiency in troubleshooting three-phase power, motor controls, and low-voltage systems. Demonstrated ability to use power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools effectively. Capacity to read and apply technical drawings and schematics to real-world repairs. Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and climbing. Preferred Skills Technical certification or Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Technology. Experience utilizing CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory. Background in maintaining automated systems, conveyors, or CNC machinery. Current certification for operating forklifts or aerial lifts. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
