Core Non-Negotiable Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrated specific resume examples highlighting: Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Hands-on experience mapping current and future state workflows, identifying waste, and implementing stream improvements across manufacturing processes.
Cycle Count & Inventory Accuracy Improvement:
Proven track record of evaluating, troubleshooting, and improving shop-floor cycle count performance, WIP tracking, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities Value Stream & Flow Optimization:
Lead VSM events and continuous improvement initiatives across production, fabrication, and assembly cells to reduce lead times and enhance throughput.
Cycle Count & Inventory Control:
Perform root-cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, optimize WIP tracking, and design/execute robust cycle count programs to drive accuracy.
Process Standardization:
Create, update, and standardize Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process documentation aligned with Lean manufacturing principles.
Data-Driven Analysis:
Conduct Time Studies, line-balancing assessments, capacity evaluations, and labor utilization analyses to optimize plant resource planning.
Quality & Risk Mitigation:
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to support operational changes and product improvements.
Qualifications & Background Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on Lean/CI industry experience).

3+ years of engineering/CI experience in a manufacturing or assembly plant setting (metal fabrication, assembly, or HVAC components preferred).
Travel Flexibility:
100% comfortable with weekly travel to manufacturing facilities across the US as needed.
Continuous Improvement Expertise:
Strong mastery of Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), Kaizen events, and root-cause corrective action tools.
Technical Software Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and exposure to ERP/MRP systems for BOM management and workflow tracking. Application Instructions When applying, please ensure your resume explicitly details specific examples and metric-driven outcomes (e.g., percentage improvements, cycle time reductions, accuracy gains) for your Value Stream Mapping and Cycle Count / Inventory Control projects.
