Job Description

Job Description Overview Our client is seeking an entry-level Industrial Engineer to support a high-visibility aerospace manufacturing program. This role will focus on process improvement, production planning, capacity analysis, and manufacturing optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to develop Industrial Engineering expertise within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Support development of operating and recovery plans for manufacturing operations. Analyze production data, process trends, staffing requirements, and operational performance. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and schedule performance. Collect and analyze production data from manufacturing areas and aircraft work environments. Develop reports, spreadsheets, and basic analytical models to support decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $34/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Ability to work in manufacturing and aircraft environments, including climbing ladders and stairs. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance Aerospace or aircraft manufacturing experience. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience conducting time studies. Familiarity with CAD tools and production scheduling systems. Experience supporting manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
