Job Description
Works closely with phlebotomist, nurses, physicians, radiologists and fellow radiographers to perform technical procedures in Outpatient Services.
- Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or achieved within 12 months of hire date required
- Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel
- Knowledge of electrical and radiation hazards required
- Capable of lifting and positioning patients and equipment
- Position requires ability to walk frequently; stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with background noises
- BLS required
