This role is vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of complex systems, including pipelines, power plants, and gas turbines. As a Utility Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise technical staff, and uphold safety standards to deliver reliable utility services. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in operational performance while maintaining strict adherence to environmental regulations and safety protocols. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and power generation systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental standards. Coordinate maintenance schedules for equipment such as boilers, turbines, pumps, piping systems, electrical components, and instrumentation devices. Lead team members in troubleshooting engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical faults, or process anomalies using technical expertise. Oversee pipeline operations including inspection, repair planning, and leak detection to prevent disruptions. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety regulations during all operational activities and heavy equipment operation. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving system failures or safety hazards with effective emergency response procedures. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, safety inspections, incident reports, and environmental compliance documentation. Requirements Proven experience in water treatment or wastewater treatment facilities with a strong understanding of environmental regulations. Hands-on knowledge of power plant operations, including gas turbine generation and boiler operation. Familiarity with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for troubleshooting and system analysis. Mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency in equipment maintenance and engineering troubleshooting. Ability to operate heavy machinery and electrical systems safely while adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection and PPE use. Strong math skills for process calculations and system monitoring. Outdoor work experience with the physical ability for heavy lifting and long shifts in variable weather conditions. Leadership skills to supervise teams effectively while promoting a safety-first culture. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
