Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Underground WET Utilities Superintendent to direct and oversee all field construction activities for assigned crews in the North Dallas Area. In this role, you will manage field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Scheduling:
Develop master project schedules and submit weekly three-week look-ahead schedules. Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, materials, fuel, and tools with proper lead times.
Budget & Project Oversight:
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, analyze workflow efficiency, and proactively address schedule deviations.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, actively review safety documentation, and exercise Stop Work Authority whenever necessary.
Team & Crew Management:
Lead, mentor, and recruit field crews. Hold Foremen accountable for job performance and verify that equipment inspection reports and operational logs are accurately maintained.
Client & Inspector Relations:
Build strong relationships with General Contractors, Inspectors, and the Concrete Division through proactive, consistent daily communication. Qualifications Strong technical background in underground wet utilities, contracts, plans, specs, and local regulations.
