Job Description

Position Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for a variety of duties associated with the operation of the Irigaray Central Processing Plant ("CPP") which will include the recovery of uranium from uranium-loaded resins through final calcining (drying) and packaging. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to: . Completing resin transfers to the elution circuit; performing elutions (stripping uranium-loaded resins); precipitating rich eluate solutions; conducting filter press drops; calcining (drying) and drumming final uranium product. . Collection of samples from various process circuits for laboratory analysis. The operator will be required to conduct basic analytical work for which training will be provided. . Monitoring the control computer for plant operational metrics including the rapid response to computer process alarms. . Documentation of accurate records of daily processing plant activities. . Driving truckloads of ion exchange resin between the Christensen Ranch site and the Irigaray Central Processing Plant may be required.
Job Requirements :
. This is an hourly paid position that involves shiftwork. Work schedule is a 12-hour shift (day or night), 4 days on, 4 days off. Overnight accommodation is available for those who choose to stay on site for their 4-days on. . Job training will be provided for this position. . Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices and to engage in a strong safety culture. . Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. . Applicants must be able to pass a medical pulmonary function test . High school diploma or GED. . Must have knowledge of basic construction/maintenance and PVC plumbing skills. . A valid driver's license is required - Class A CDL would be preferred. . Must have the ability to safely work independently, as well as a part of a team setting. . Must have the ability to follow standard operating procedures. . Basic computer skills are required.
