This position involves operating thermal transfer label printers, preparing label layouts, and ensuring printed labels are accurate and professional. Ideal candidate has some experience with label printing, Photoshop, Illustrator or graphic/layout software is needed. One color print is usually what we do. Responsibilities Operate thermal transfer label printers Prepare and adjust label layouts Use BASIC Photoshop, Illustrator or similar software for basic design edits Verify barcode readability, alignment, colors, and print quality Maintain organization of files and print jobs Follow detailed work instructions carefully Perform quality checks before production release Prepare final packing of product to be shipped Prepare shipping label and pack the final product Notify client when order is shipped Requirements Attention to detail is extremely important Basic experience with Photoshop or graphic layout software would be great but not rally required Comfortable working with computers and printers Able to resolve basic network connections to make sure everything works in place Able to follow instructions accurately Good organizational skills Printing or label experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person Ideal Candidate Notices small mistakes others miss Works carefully and consistently Learns quickly Takes pride in producing accurate work Has experience in printing, labels, packaging, or graphics Position Details Full-time Located in Chula Vista Pay based on experience - No experienced starts with $19.00 per hour English and any other language welcomed Hire will be done as independent contractor or freelancer only When applying, please include: Short description of your experience Software you have used Any printing label experience Resume if available
