This is local day work. No travel and no overnight stays. You drive yourself, shoot the day, hand off your media, and go home.

WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE

Roughly seven event days spread across September, October and November. Each day covers pre-event tailgate activity and then the event itself. Expect long days on your feet in Florida heat, a lot of walking, and constant movement between locations on foot. You will be working alongside a small group and capturing real moments as they happen. Nothing is staged and nothing is repeated, so you need to be able to read a room, anticipate, and stay on the right person at the right time. The content is family-friendly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate primary camera in a documentary, observational style: handheld, run-and-gun, available light. Record clean production audio using lavaliers and wireless systems in loud, crowded environments. Run secondary and unattended cameras as needed. Offload, back up and verify every card at the end of the day. Upload the day's footage to the post-production team the same night, with consistent file naming. Coordinate with the field producer on coverage.

REQUIRED

Based in South Florida and able to work event days without travel. Demonstrated experience shooting documentary, reality or unscripted content on location. Please be ready to share a reel. Fluent on Sony FX3 and/or FX6, including exposure, log workflow and monitoring. Solid production audio skills with wireless lavalier systems, including in loud crowd environments.

Your own camera package:

FX3 and/or FX6 body, lenses, support, audio kit, media and batteries. The day rate is inclusive of equipment. Able to lift and carry gear for extended periods and work long days on your feet outdoors. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED

Sports, live event, crowd or tailgate shooting experience. Experience working around families and children on camera. Comfort cutting quick social clips in the field. Availability for occasional additional day work beyond the scheduled dates.

TRAVEL WORK ALSO AVAILABLE

We separately run a travel version of this role: multi-day road trips departing from South Florida, where the crew travels together in a shared production RV. Those trips involve overnight travel, and the longest one runs up to seven days of travel in each direction. That work is not required for this position, but if you are open to it there may be additional days available. One of the screening questions asks about this, so please answer honestly either way. Local-only applicants are equally welcome.

BACKGROUND CHECK

Work involves close contact with a family group that includes minors. Any offer of engagement is contingent on satisfactory completion of a background check. PAY $350 to $500 per day depending on experience and the gear package you bring. Rate is inclusive of your equipment. Approximately seven scheduled days, with the possibility of more.
