In this role, you will be the final line of defense before designs go to print. You will review, modify, and optimize digital files to ensure they meet strict technical printing specifications. Key Responsibilities File Preparation:
Inspect, preflight, and prepare client-supplied artwork for multi-color printing and CAM production processes.
Layout & Imposition:
Create precise print layouts, traps, bleeds, and cut paths according to specific manufacture methods for a given product.
Color Management:
Perform accurate color corrections, image manipulation, and format conversions using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator and Photoshop).
Quality Assurance:
Review graphics / layout alignments to eliminate formatting errors, typos, or low-resolution elements, prior to release to production.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with production teams to resolve artwork issues, while maintaining tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications Expert Software Skill:
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is strictly required.
Industry Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a pre-press, print shop, or production art environment.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of print production variables including CMYK vs RGB, spot colors (Pantone), image resolution requirements, and vector file manipulation.
Core Competency:
Extreme attention to detail is paramount. You must be someone who naturally spots minor alignment errors, and works by the numbers, not just visually.
Proximity:
Ability to commute daily to our Woodstock GA facility. This is an on-site position.
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
