Full Job Description Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining control over all systems/procedures/handling of all internal print plates, cutting dies, and inks. Responsible for maintaining control over all systems/procedures/handling of all internal print plates, cutting dies, and inks. Oversee all activities related to inventory and maintenance of prepress area.

Production Supervisor Conditions:
Work in a production floor setting. Long periods of standing and/or sitting required. Lift up to 50 lbs. Back-and-forth arm motions lifting cutting dies, printing plates and ink buckets. Operate scissor lift, forklift and golf cart
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the ordering of all inks, bases and additives. Order die mounting supplies, as well as office supplies for pre-press group. Order inks, bases, additives and anything related to ink production / inventory Mount and repair printing plates to maintain production schedule. Stage printing plates and samples to be delivered for daily production runs. Maintain clean and organize storage area. Oversee daily handling of incoming plates (both new and transferred) by staging and cataloging into system after receiving inspection by Customer Service team. Prepare FO. jackets with load tags, print cards and FO.'s. Conduct ink inventories and prepare ink orders based upon upcoming demand. Support and adhere to required, documented and defined procedures and work instructions including, but not limited to: food safety programs, OSHA regulations and PPE as designated. Maintain samples for color matching process. Communicate via Slack and Email to all departments in a timely manner; Utilize Monday.com for projects. Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic mechanical skills. Basic proof-reading and math skills. Customer service driven and focused. Participate in any requested or required training. Follow precise instructions. Develop corrugated industry knowledge. Flexible hours to accomplish required objectives. Communicate effectively with vendors. Excellent data entry skills. High school education or equivalent, previous corrugated experience preferred.
