Flexographic Plate Mounter Upscale Packaging LLC Woodbridge, NJ Job Details Full-time $16.50 - $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Color correction (printed materials) Color calibration implementation Printed materials color profiling Printed materials color matching Flexographic printing Full Job Description About the Role We are a growing flexible packaging manufacturer looking for a skilled Flexographic Plate Mounter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately mounting flexographic printing plates to ensure consistent, high-quality print output across our film and flexible packaging lines. Key Responsibilities Mount and register flexographic printing plates onto press cylinders with precision Use mounting tapes, registration systems, and proofing tools to verify alignment prior to press runs Inspect plates for defects, damage, or wear before and after mounting Maintain plate inventory — log usage, storage, cleaning, and condition Collaborate with press operators to troubleshoot registration issues and color alignment Clean and care for plates and sleeves per manufacturer and internal standards Follow all safety protocols in a manufacturing environment Support job changeovers and maintain accurate production records Qualifications 2+ years of experience in flexographic plate mounting (film/flexible packaging preferred) Familiarity with plate mounting systems (e.g., Mounter proofing stations, registration marks, repeat lengths) Understanding of print registration, color separation, and flexo print fundamentals Ability to read work orders and job specs Strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy under production timelines Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently Nice to Have Experience with CI (Central Impression) press setups Exposure to LLDPE, OPP, or laminated film substrates Familiarity with Heaford, Esko, AV Flexologic, or similar mounting systems

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
