Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Camera Operator/Editor to bring visual stories to life through compelling videography and expert editing. This role is perfect for creative professionals passionate about capturing high-quality footage and transforming raw video into polished, engaging content. You will be responsible for operating a variety of video recording equipment, managing lighting and sound, and executing post-production edits using industry-standard media editing tools. Your work will play a vital role in producing captivating videos that inform, entertain, and inspire audiences across multiple platforms. Responsibilities Operate professional video recording equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting setups, to capture high-quality footage aligned with project goals. Set up camera angles, framing, and movement to enhance storytelling and visual appeal. Record clear audio by managing sound recording devices and microphones during filming sessions. Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and translate creative concepts into visual content. Edit raw footage using media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to produce seamless final videos. Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction to elevate the quality of the final product. Manage post-production tasks including sound editing, color grading, and media organization for efficient workflow. Ensure all filming adheres to technical standards for lighting, audio quality, and video resolution. Maintain and troubleshoot video production equipment to ensure optimal performance during shoots. Stay updated on the latest videography techniques and media editing trends to continuously improve content quality. Qualifications Proven experience operating professional video recording equipment and managing camera setups for various types of shoots. Strong proficiency with media editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of lighting techniques for video production to create visually appealing scenes. Skilled in sound recording for video production using microphones and audio processing tools. Ability to perform photography tasks that complement videography projects. Excellent understanding of visual storytelling principles combined with technical proficiency in videography workflows. Experience with motion graphics creation and integration into video projects is a plus. Strong organizational skills for managing media assets during post-production processes. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
