Job Description:
The Press Break Operator responsibilities include operating and monitoring press equipment to produce quality products while meeting production schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements. This position is responsible for machine setup, operation, routine inspections, minor troubleshooting, quality verification, production documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Press Operator works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently, production goals are achieved, and company safety policies and procedures are followed.

$22.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate, set up, adjust, and monitor press equipment and related production machinery.
  • Perform routine machine inspections and identify mechanical issues or equipment abnormalities.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine problems and communicate maintenance needs when necessary.
  • Monitor production output to ensure quality, efficiency, and production targets are met.
  • Conduct in-process quality inspections using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
  • Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance personnel to support efficient operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company quality standards.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, or press operator experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment setup, operation, and adjustments.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures.
  • Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections is preferred.
  • Basic machine troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, attendance, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Bonus Eligibility:
