Job Description

Hiring Press Brake Operators on 1st and 2nd shift Direct Placement up to 65k/yr Job Description As a Press Brake Operator, you will set up and operate Cincinnati Brake Press machines using materials such as stainless steel and cold rolled steel. You will prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations, utilizing custom punch/die tooling in combination with standard tooling. Complex programming using all features of the press brake is required, including bending at angles, offset bends, proper back gauge transfer between steps, and delays. Responsibilities Perform math calculations and measure part dimensions using instruments such as calipers, protractors, micrometers, dial indicators, and height gauges. Inspect parts and measure critical dimensions to ensure quality. Meet production rates efficiently. Read blueprints, inspect parts, and complete inspection paperwork. Maintain calibrated tools and ensure they are in proper working condition. Stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time. Lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Identify areas for process improvement, cost, and waste reduction. Ensure safe working practices by following safety procedures. Essential Skills Proficiency in press brake operation and CNC machine setup. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing plans. Experience in fabrication and punch press operations. Skilled in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication and stamping. Knowledge of turret, lathe, CNC mill, and tooling operations. Ability to perform inspections and maintain equipment. Why Work Here? Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
