Full job Description - Role and Responsibilities L&H Manufacturing (www.lhmfg.com) is seeking a Press Brake Operator for its facility in Hastings, NE. This is an entry level position, requiring minimum experience of 1 year or currently enrolled in a metalworking program . Four (4) day work week. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Minimum 1 year of Press Brake Operator / Metalworking experience required. Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner. Keep a clean and orderly work area. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience bending sheet metal of various thicknesses. Ability to adjust the settings on the Press Brake are required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn and improve to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions. Preferred Skills Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail oriented. Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time. Willingness to work in shifts that may include early hours or overtime if necessary. Additional Notes All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Starting base wage is between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, depending on work experience. After 30 days of employment, employee is eligible for paid holidays. After 60 days of employment, employee is eligible for health insurance. After 90 days of employment, employee is eligible for company benefits including uniforms, boots and retirement program. Paid vacation available after 1 year of employment.
